MINIATURE PONY CENTRE
The Miniature Pony Centre will be at Chagstock again this year with a small selection of animals, or a selection of small animals.
For the third year, Alan and Helen with their Magic Bus will be running their Hair braiding, Face painting, Hat making, Felt Making, Dream Catcher workshops and much more.
They will also coordinate the many activities on the village green, look out for their blackboard showing times.
Swamp Circus Theatre

We may have another separate circus act as well, should know soon.
For the second year we have vintage swingboats, larger ones this time. These Traditional Vintage Swingboats were built in the UK by FJ Thomas of Chersey in Surrey around 1910. See their website http://www.swingboats.com .
Another new attraction for 2013, The Paint Lab.
The 'Paint Lab' is a brand new children's attraction. We can cater for any child orientated event, creating an environment where children can create, and parents can relax. See their video.
On site outside the arena will be our local Dunns Dairy, selling much more than just milk.
To quote from their website ‘We do not use steroids or antibiotics to force our cattle to produce higher yields and our farming process is as natural and traditional as it has always been.’
Susie Showers PUPPET SHOW
New for this year. A shadow puppet theatre company. A project in sustainable entertainment. We've got a few bits of card on a couple of sticks, a sheet off the bed and a fairly bright lamp. We have some big stories too. Watch the video
The village green is an area where you can sit on benches, eat food from the stalls and let your kids be entertained by a number of planned activities. Chagstock is not just about music, we have plenty of other activities lined up for you.
For the third year running, one of our most popular activities, Water Zorbing.
Bubblemania came last year with a small stall. This year they will also be running kids bubble workshops.
Samba workshops with the Blackdown Samba Band.

Based in them there hills Blackdown Samba are a community band of disparate rhythm freaks with a common goal of having fun with drums!!
'Entertainingly Different' who are well known across the Westcountry and beyond for their performance work and School based workshops are delighted to be bringing their own inimitable brand of family entertainment to 'Chagstock Village Green' this Summer by way of their 'Traditional Tales Show'
Laughing, cheering, clapping and singing will be the order of the day as 'Entertainingly Different' promise to delight Chagstock Festival goers with their interactive storytelling show which features live accordian accompaniment from folk artiste Jim Causley.
The 60 minute mini musical will enthrall and amuse people of all ages with it's heady mix of storytelling, slapstick, song, dance and surprises. The performers play all the parts with the help of their puppets, an array of hats and costumes, a fine looking wooden trunk, a couple of hat stands and not forgetting plenty of audience participation. Don't miss this family friendly treat being performed at 6.00pm on both Friday and Saturday evening!

Lockups and Lost Property including Children
**** Don’t leave valuables in your tent ****
As you enter from the main box office entry you will see the lockups, here you can leave you bulky or valuable items while you wander the Arena or overnight. Any lost property will also be managed from here as will lost children. So please point out this stall to your kids on the way in, just in case.
This area will be staffed by responsible adults the entire time including Sunday morning.
This stall is run in aid of Devon Air Ambulance, one of the main charities supported by Chagstock.
The Boomtown Rats are headlining this year with Bob Geldof, Pete Briquette, Garry Roberts and Simon Crowe.

This will be the venue for a Ukulele Workshop, Susie Showers Puppet show, Entertainly Different 60 minute mini musical and others. As well as serving tea and other soft drinks and cake.
Showmans Wagon dated 1894
In keeping with our circus theme, we have a circus showmans wagon for you to look over. It will be parked on the village green throughout the event.
This has been kindly donated for the show by Derek Ambridge, please look after it.
And finally, it comes every year, the Bouncy Castle from Moor Leisure
Operating from the Lustleigh area of Dartmoor we are Devon's Party and Event specialists, offering everything from Bouncy Castles to Balloons and from Giant Games to Party Goods.
We deliver throughout Devon and East Cornwall and being based close to the A30 & A38 can cater for events in both of Devon's cities and all of the major towns.
