Julian has a key skill, which is to discuss a problem, understand it, propose a solution, quote a fixed price and timescale, and meet both. Many of the products he has developed have been crucial to the success of his own businesses.  All three businesses reached turnovers in excess of £3m and continue to operate successfully.  

Achieving success has involved a mixture of luck, hard work and more right decisions than wrong ones.  Julian’s approach has seldom been to invent new markets, but to understand an existing market and find a better solution.
